Medicare Rebates:

Please book a long appointment with your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. They will make an assessment about whether you are eligible to claim Medicare Rebates and may refer you to a Psychologist under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or a Dept. of Veteran Affairs Allied Health Treatment Cycle.

  • Under a MHCP plan, you can access up to 20 sessions in a calendar year.
  • Appointments are 50mins long.
  • After six (6) therapy sessions, Monique will provide the referrer with a report outlining the assessment/treatment provided, recommendations and, if necessary,  a request for further appointments. If further appointments are required, please return to the referrer for a review to determine your eligibility for another four (4) sessions. Please ask your referrer to email us their review confirmation.
  • After those next four (4) appointments, Monique will again provide the referrer with a report outlining the assessment/treatment provided, recommendations and, if necessary, a request for further appointments. If further appointments are required, please return to the referrer for another review to determine your eligibility for another ten (10) sessions due to COVID-19. Please ask your referrer to email us their review confirmation
  • While Monique's case load is currently full, we can place you on the waiting/cancellation list and contact you with the earliest available appointment - until a regular appointment is available.
  • Please ask your GP to email us a copy of the referral/ plan to [email protected]
  • We will also need your Medicare card details and an email address for you!

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS):

We proudly offer regular psychological intervention and services to NDIS clients who are Plan Managed or self-managed.

  • Great news! Neda (our Provisional Psychologist) currently has availability for an immediate start to therapy!
  • Weekly or fortnightly | 1-2hr therapy sessions | Face-to-face or via phone/zoom
  • We charge as per NDIS Schedule of fees.
  • Invoices are sent directly to the Plan Managers or client (if self-managed). No GST is charged on the invoices.
  • Unfortunately, we are currently not able to provide therapy for NDIA managed clients.
  • Please contact us with your contact details, NDIS plan number, goals, and dates so we can organise appointments.

Short Notice Cancellation Policy:

A late cancelled appointment is a loss to THREE people!

  1. The client who is delaying their therapy progress
  2. Another client who is on the waiting list to see the psychologist urgently
  3. The psychologist who spent time preparing the session

A short notice cancellation (or no show) is if the client:

  • Does not show up for a scheduled appointment within a reasonable time; or
  • Has given less than two (2) clear days' (48hrs) notice.
  • Please note: current NDIS policy states seven (7) clear days' notice is needed to avoid a cancellation fee. However, we have chosen to reduce the timeframe to two (2) day's notice.
  • Out-Of-Pocket: FULL FEE
  • Must be paid prior to next appt

We understand sometimes clients are unable to keep their appointments due to a sudden unexpected personal emergency. If this happens to you, please contact us as soon as possible to explain the problem.
